The Competitive Esports at CSU was officially recognized by Sport Clubs in the Spring of 2019.
We compete at the national level in League of Legends, Rocket League, Rainbow 6 Siege, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Apex, Valorant, Call of Duty, Overwatch, and are always looking to field more games!
We interact and compete with other Universities (sometimes in person!) including CU Boulder, the University of Wyoming, and many others which improves our competitive abilities and furthers collegiate esports as a whole.
Beyond gaming, the program provides members with leadership, networking, and social opportunities that they can draw upon long after graduation. We aim to create a welcoming and friendly community for all those interested in competitive esports at CSU. Our organization is entirely student-run and lead with the support of the CSU Campus Recreation Office.
Most of our games hold tryouts in September and January, however this varies by game. The amount of teams varies by interest. Current information on teams, tryouts, and tournaments can be found in our casual discord, discord.gg/csu.
