The CSU Swim and Dive Club is a student-run organization that strives to build a community within their team, to have healthy competition, and to share a love for these sports. Participating on a club sports team is a good way to maintain a competitive edge and fine tune your skills. Plus, swimming is great exercise, a great stress-reliever, and a life-long skill.
2023-2024 marks the thirteenth year of Swim and Dive Club’s recognition as a sport club at CSU. This co-ed club is intended for swimmers of all levels and backgrounds. The team practices at the Moby Pool and the Glenn Morris Pool, with workouts tailored to member needs.
Depending on skill level and desired intensity, practices can range from 2,500 to 6,000 yards. Divers practice at the same times as the swimmers, and practice varying levels of dive difficulty and technique depending on the comfort and experience of the diver. The Swim and Dive Club competes against regional schools in local meets each semester, including two home meets each year. The team also competes at the CCS National Championship at the end of each swim season.
