Outdoor Programs Trips & Classes

Outdoor Programs provides Student Recreation Center members with a variety of trips and classes throughout the year.  Join our Outdoor Programs Instructors on a trip – from warm weather activities like rock climbing, backpacking, and hiking, to winter adventures such skiing and snowshoeing! All trips include transportation, equipment, instruction, and more! Registration is available online or in-person at the Rec.

Sign up for a Free Outdoor Class with us throughout the semester and learn a variety of skills like backcountry cooking, navigation, avalanche awareness, and more.  Classes take place during the week at the Outdoor Resource Room near the Climbing Wall.

Upcoming Trips & Classes:

Outdoor Programs hosts a variety of other activities and events such as the BANFF Mountain Film Festival and the NOLS Wilderness First Responder training and certification. Check out the other tabs underneath Outdoor Programs to learn more!
