Student Development Fund

Campus Recreation has an endowment that supports one of our four department values: development. This fund offers student employees an opportunity to receive financial support to attend trainings, seminars, webinars, or to complete certifications/re-certification, and/or participate in and represent Colorado State University at regional or national conferences. Student recipients of these awards return to the department with new knowledge, improved proficiencies and technical abilities, and enhanced leadership skills. This translates to a committed employee and helps prepare students for careers beyond university life.

There’s no better way to help celebrate 30+ years of recreation at CSU than to support a fund that will benefit our greatest asset, our student employees. Campus Recreation employs more than 300 students annually and this endowment aids the continual development of leadership skills and technical abilities beyond the scope of their campus job along with helping them prepare for a future career.
