Welcome to Campus Recreation! Whether you are interested in a quick tour of the facility or looking for more in-depth access or information, we work hard to accommodate you. Read below for more information on all the options available to you.
Whether you are with a group, class, or just want to walk through the Student Recreation Center solo, we have a variety of tour options for you! To request a scheduled tour of the facility, please contact Brit Heiring, Communications & Marketing Manager at email@example.com. Tour requests need to be made at least one full week in advance in order to schedule the staff needed.
Tours for small groups (3 or less people) are also available on a drop-in basis by availability. Stop by the Service Center in the lobby to request a tour and one of our Recreation Supervisors will show you around (dependent on their availability). If a Recreation Supervisor is unable to give you a tour, we will allow you to walk through the facility on your own. Want to insure that you have a tour guide during your visit? Schedule a tour per the regulations above ahead of time.
All requests for media interviews and photography/videos of Campus Recreation programs, the Student Recreation Center facilities, and/or participants for commercial media must be made in advance. Please contact Brit Heiring, Communications & Marketing Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss the parameters of your request. All other media requests should be directed to the CSU Department of Public Relations at (970) 491-6621.

As of November, 2018, Campus Recreation is no longer offering advertising space within the facility. All reservations made prior to this change will be honored through the remainder of the semester, but no new advertising reservations will be booked. The Ads @ the Rec program will be fully retired beginning spring 2019.
Campus Recreation is shifting our advertising philosophy to support events and services that align with our mission of promoting a healthy, balanced lifestyle to a diverse campus population. Promotions will occur through intentional partnerships (such as through the Campus Recreation-Health Network partnership) and advertising spaces will no longer be for sale.
There are lots of spaces on campus that are open to advertising. If you are a non-CSU entity looking for campus-wide advertising opportunities, please contact the External Relations team. If you are a CSU organization, please see this list of options.
Entities looking to partner with Campus Recreation on a sponsorship basis are encouraged to contact Loretta Capra. Sponsorships entail a donation made to the Student Development Fund and provide a collaborative approach to events or tabling, such as sponsoring our annual Night at the Rec event.
