The CSU Swim Club is a student-run organization. We strive to build a community within our team, to have healthy competition, and to share the love for the sport. 2015-2016 marks the fifth year of Swim Club's recognition as a sport club at CSU. Participating in a club sports team is a good way to maintain a competitive edge and have fun at the same time. Swimming is great exercise and a great stress reliever, and is a life-long skill.
This club is co-ed for swimmers of all levels and backgrounds. We practice four times a week and workouts are tailored to members each year; our practices range from 2,500 to 6,000 yards depending on skill level and desired intensity. We practice in the Moby Pool and the Glenn Morris Pool. The Swim Club competes against regional schools in local meets 2-3 times each semester, including two home meets each year. The 2014-2015 school year saw a major milestone for our club as we sent swimmers to the ECC Swimming Nationals Championship for the first time. This is an opportunity we will continue to offer all members in the future.
