Colorado State Women’s Club soccer is a student-led organization. As a team, we
rely on our own fundraising and the support of the community to help us travel to
the annual tournaments we attend across the country while representing CSU (we
receive little financial assistance from the school).

We practice four days a week, and during League, we play in one or two games a
week against teams from Colorado and Wyoming. Every year, we compete in
tournaments in Santa Barbara, California as well as in Boulder, Colorado. Our most
recent championship was winning the Boulder tournament in 2015.

We also compete in Regionals and the National Intramural and Recreational Sports
Association (NIRSA) National Tournament. In 2015 we were National Championship
Finalists.

This past season we were undefeated in League play and were quarterfinalists in the
National Tournament in Alabama. This upcoming year we will be playing at
Nationals in Phoenix, Arizona, and are hungry to bring a National Title back to Fort
Collins.

Outside of soccer, our program provides students with an excellent opportunity to
develop leadership skills, responsibility, and quality athletics that will benefit them
long after they graduate. Beyond the season, we work with the community and help
local soccer clubs, and fundraise with the Colorado Rapids that round out a club
sport experience.
