Colorado State University Women’s Club Lacrosse is a highly competitive team. With a competitive league (Colorado, Air Force, and Brigham Young), this team aims to be the best. They have finished in the top 10 in the Nation for the WCLA (Women’s Club Lacrosse Association) every year, and have won four national championship titles (2008, 2010, 2011, and 2013). Additionally, they finished in 2nd place in 2012 and 4th place in 2016. The team also produces All-American athletes every season, and last year, they were awarded Academic All-American, 5 All-Americans, and Attack player of the year.
The team strives to reach their potential, but at the end of the day, they play for their passion and the love for the game! The CSU Women’s Lacrosse Club is a student-organized and produced program. Therefore, the team is responsible for fundraising, travel, game scheduling and various volunteering activities throughout the community. Responsibility and leadership positions also fall directly on the students, and there are many opportunities to get involved and participate throughout the season. This is an active club, so the team puts a lot of work in during the fall semester to ensure a successful spring season. Anyone is encouraged to join, regardless of skill level, and experience the CSU Women’s Lacrosse team.
