Welcome to Campus Recreation!

Whether you are interested in a quick tour of the facility or looking for more in-depth access or information, we work hard to accommodate you. Read below for more information on all the options available to you.

Pro Tip: Check out our Count and Cams page to see how busy the facility is before you tour.

Tours for small groups may be available on a drop-in basis. Stop by the Service Center in the lobby to request a tour and one of our Recreation Supervisors will show you around (dependent on their availability). If a Recreation Supervisor is unable to give you a tour, we will allow you to walk through the facility on your own.

Media Requests (Collegian, local media, etc.)

All requests for media interviews and photography/videos of Campus Recreation programs, the Student Recreation Center facilities, and/or participants for commercial media must be made in advance (at least two business days prior). Please email the marketing team to discuss the parameters of your request. All other media requests should be directed to the CSU Department of Public Relations at (970) 491-6621.

Academic-Related Requests (class projects, assignments, etc.)

All requests for media interviews and photography/videos of Campus Recreation programs, the Student Recreation Center facilities, and/or participants for academic media must be made in advance (at least two business days prior). Please email the marketing team to discuss the parameters of your project.

Campus Recreation does not offer advertising within the facility in order to provide a space that welcomes and supports individuals on their wellness journey. Any promotions within our space occur through intentional partnerships which support our mission, vision, and values.

Additional Campus Ad Opportunities

There are lots of spaces on campus that are open to advertising. If you are a non-CSU entity looking for campus-wide advertising opportunities, please contact the External Relations team.

Sponsorships

Entities looking to partner with Campus Recreation on a sponsorship basis are encouraged to contact our Marketing and Communications team. Sponsorships entail a donation made to the Student Development Fund and provide a collaborative approach to events or tabling, such as sponsoring our annual Night at the Rec event.
